Three consecutive fours for Strauss now, who is approaching 100 number 5 in ODI's and his second of the year. Really making a mockery of those suggestions that he should be dropped for the World Cup...how ****ing stupid were those

Quite a striking contrast between Strauss's home and away ODI records. Any explanations for that?

50 for Trott too. Come slightly slowly by modern standards, but he's proven in the past he's capable of accelerating as the innings goes on. Been an important partnership between these 2, and I'd be very surprised if we lost from here.

It doesn't look like Trott will have a chance to accelerate his innings after all, decides to run himself out after a close LBW shout. Just hope Colly comes in and plays properly now.
