Marsh and Clarke batting together, the run rate will probably peak at 3 per over here.
Broken record mate, reckon half of your posts slam Marsh. Not sure what he is doing wrong this innings, scoring at a strike rate of 70 (which is fine given he has batted with 85+ batsman), been able to not gift his wicket away, seems in a perfect position to go on for a big score and have other batsman around him score quicker.

You'reeeeeee a joke. He's taken them from 64/2 to a position where the middle and lower order can swing knowing that a few wickets will no longer harm us to a point of no return.

Have you ever played cricket?

No

Btw I agree with Greig Tony, guys like Hussey and Haddin need to be in for a while before they can hit big. With Marsh taking up so many deliveries, they have to basically come in and go big straight away to get a defendable total (270+ imo).

Thoght Marsh played very well today

Could've done with a bit more scoring support from the other end when getting tired though

Lets be realistic here.

Pakistan will lose by 100 or so runs within 45 overs.

If I am wrong, feel free to quote this and call me an idiot.

Jeez Pakistan are horrible to watch in the field, nay, doing anything other than simply bat or bowl the ball. They have some talented bowlers, but there's a limit to how many dropped catches, fumbles, overthrows and general brainless headless chicken moments you can watch in the field. And for professional cricketers to be so poor at running between the wickets (yet to occur tonight, but I'm tipping at least one run-out) is just embarrassing.

Ironically, it's the things that you can improve upon as a cricketer that they are worst at - the talent that can't be taught is there.

There's less joy to be had in beating an opponent if that opponent is the Inspector Clueso of the cricketing world, let alone a Clueso with bi-polar.
