*Official* Pakistan in Australia

many congrats to pakistan for blowing a life time oppertunity to beat Aus in Aus.. this maybe the worst and weakest team they have faced and will face in a test series..yousuf should take a bow for this..

Finally, a less deserving congrats to Aus..they played the first test better. if pakistan would have win the second test.. 3rd test would have been a different story..

Pakistan probably should've taken one match - unfortunately for them, beating Australia has no longer become a target, but a barrier.

I'm happy that Australia won, but Faisal's correct; there are improvements to be made.

Our middle order looks much better after this series, but there are still suspect areas. While you can't really drop Hussey now, North should be removed ASAP. He has all the form of a tailender and is currently fending and seemingly lacks time to play deliveries (note how fast his bat movement is this days). He looks as scratchy as hell. Give him some time to make runs in FC cricket, then try him again if he performs.

It is good to see our weakest link at the moment (Siddle) finally take some wickets. Hopefully he's working himself back into form. Hilfenhaus is doubtful for at least some of NZ, but it's probably good that he's missing the ODI's, for he is a rank ODI bowler. Bollinger, Johnson and Hauritz have also been incisive, if only variably consistent.

Going forward the only change needed to be made is North. He is simply not worth playing when in this sort of form. We have the perfect opportunity to watch how the Shield plays out over the next two months, see if someone can really demand a position in the side.

If North is to retain his spot, I hope he can score some bigs runs for WA. The man has no middle-ground, either making big hundreds or doing zilch. Has always been the case throughout his state and county career, and continues to show at International level.

I have this feeling that the selectors would be content to keep North in the middle order. If they didn't luck out on the Watson experiment at the top of the order, there'd be more pressing them to ring in some changes.

It would be interesting to see Pakistan play Australia in England and even more interesting to see which side England crowd supports, obviously that's provided if they turn up to see this overtly boring Pakistani side.....God! i hope Mo Yo is not the captain when this comes around...

I am hoping to get tickets, I am in the ballot, and I am really looking forward to it.

I am sure 90% of the crowd at least will be supporting Pakistan, at least that was my experience in the T20 world cup. Then, the crowd was full of 'British Pakistani' fans (except the day where India were also playing where it was ~80% India fans and led to an extremely unpleasant day's watching), and any 'non-Pakistani British' fans are hardly going to support Australia - I know I won't be!

Thats what i am expecting too, most non-Pakistani British fans to support Pakistan. I just hope that Pakistan puts up a fight at least to make it a good experience for all the fans....

Looking forward to this big time.....
