Masterstoke!! Jimmeh just before lunch.

A late inswinger and Younis could be nailed in front. Always an LBW candidate, esp. early in his innings.

How's Tremlett bowled? He's not really someone who I would expect to do well in these sort of conditions.

The only poor wicket was Azhar, fishing for the ball.
Yeah, but the percentages were very good from Broad. His whole spell today was based on creating angles and therefore, batsmen weren't entirely sure which ones to play or leave. An Akram, a Procter or a Marshall at his peak was perhaps the ultimate master of this art.

A batsman's game, in my understanding, is based on two main things - a) judgment of (relative) pace and b) judgment of angle. Consistently altering the angle of delivery is sure to screw up his visual rhythm, for lack of a better term. Top display of planned attack, IMHO and the lad deserved both wickets.

Desert conditions, four man attack, long shift at the office likely; they're bowling a bit within themselves so they don't flog themselves into the ground.
Type of conditions where you are better off changing up and surprising with an effort ball, rather than letting the batsman get used to your maximum effort, reduces the potency of it.

Guess that makes sense. It's winter out there btw, 'desert conditions' is a bit misleading.

Wasn't as bad as Strauss, Cook or the planks out lbw sweeping though.
the England guys were pretty much under relentless pressure, they were being tied down, azhar was in a comfortable position, with that in consideration Azhars wicket was a give away compared to most the English wickets, and it's a shame because he has been a very consistent player.

Azhar threw his wicket away with a loose shot, pretty clear.
And the some of England batsmen didn't throw their wickets away? Maybe you should read the quoted post below from Outswinger@Pace. It might open your eyes up a bit, mate.
