EDIT: And Azhar goes! Good areas by Broad so far.


Azhar Ali is a good, compact player. Not naturally gifted against spin (like a Younis, a Mahela or a VVS), but a driven man who plays well within his limitations. At times against Herath, you got the feeling that he was relying more on judgment off the pitch - especially against the arm ball - but could play late and with good hands. Not too shabby, IMHO!
