I think asif averaged better than 36, I am confused.I don't want another 36 average bowler
So Jake is after classy avatarsSmalishah's avatar the more valuable.
I think Asif averaged somewhere around 24. You said somebody half as good so I added 50% to Asif's average and said we don't want somebody with an average of 36I think asif averaged better than 36, I am confused.
Oh yeah, forgot about him. He nearly debuted against us.Carberry I would think. Assuming he's fit.
tbf it's a real worry. A few young openers have fallen away over the last year or so, and I'm not sure that Hales has done enough at this stage. If the match was in England, I'd ask Trescothick. However, on this particular thread I'd probably go with Carberry.Oh yeah, forgot about him. He nearly debuted against us.
I see he is 31 now though and probably one year left of peak performance (between 28-32 normally reach peak as batsman).
So you reckon Hales would be behind Carberry then? Or is there somebody else looking forwards?
Don't forget Jason Roy - ideally suited for the job and has the perfect qualification - born in Durban

As an opener? Probably..So this Carberry guy is the next best thing in the English circuit?
Beat me too it, I reckon that's exactly what they'd do if one of the openers got injured and they'd bring Taylor in to take Bell's place.Everyone missing the actual solution imo. Trott would open and Bell would bat 3
