Opposed to how you normally catch a ball...Quality catch. Basically grabbed it out of mid-air.

Batting second here, any lead of say 75 or more puts you in the driver's seat. That England are perhaps more likely to perform in the second innings than Pakistan because they have a better team is neither here nor there in deciding how big the lead should be.A par score would be 400 for Pakistan. I stick by it

Because it's borderline Gambhiring. "We actually need a lead of at least 600 because we're fundamentally ****house and will be roundly out-performed by the opposition for the rest of the match."why?
Having watched a little of the matches and seen the scorecards here, he does have a point. This pitch doesn't seem to deteriorate much at all.Runs are always more difficult to chase in the fourth innings, true, but according to Ajmal this pitch does not deteriorate and just becomes flat. I find that hard to believe, because every pitch has some degree of variable bounce as it gets into the final couple of days, but there's no reason Pakistan couldn't chase down 200-250 imo.
Isn't that my pointPakistan are well ahead right now. That doesn't necessarily mean they're favourites.
Pakistan aren't ahead in reality, if it's likely that England will score big in the second innings then what we are saying is that this is heading to a draw, unless we have faith in Pak to bowl England out < 350.Because it's borderline Gambhiring. "Pakistan are ahead of England" and "Pakistan are likely to win" aren't even remotely the same thing.Pakistan aren't ahead in reality, if it's likely that England will score big in the second innings then what we are saying is that this is heading to a draw, unless we have faith in Pak to bowl England out < 350.
I agree, the first statement is not meaningful without context and consideration, that's my point."Pakistan are ahead of England" and "Pakistan are likely to win" aren't even remotely the same thing.
Yes they are. This is fundamentally wrong. They may not be in as good a position as their fans want, but they're 5-200 or whatever vs all out 190. This is Gambhiring in a decent scale on your part tbh.Pakistan aren't ahead in reality, if it's likely that England will score big in the second innings then what we are saying is that this is heading to a draw, unless we have faith in Pak to bowl England out < 350.
