Batting second here, any lead of say 75 or more puts you in the driver's seat. That England are perhaps more likely to perform in the second innings than Pakistan because they have a better team is neither here nor there in deciding how big the lead should be.

Runs are always more difficult to chase in the fourth innings, true, but according to Ajmal this pitch does not deteriorate and just becomes flat. I find that hard to believe, because every pitch has some degree of variable bounce as it gets into the final couple of days, but there's no reason Pakistan couldn't chase down 200-250 imo.

Yes they are. This is fundamentally wrong. They may not be in as good a position as their fans want, but they're 5-200 or whatever vs all out 190. This is Gambhiring in a decent scale on your part tbh.
