You have ten wickets in hand, modern batsmen can hit sixes even when men are on the boundary. They are literally going at 7 an over. There is a test match to win ffs.

Don't get these reactions. It is easily doable without those modern batsmen hitting sixes you realize that right?

Zulfiqur is a bowler who can keep it tight but but modern batsmen can be far more aggressive. They have just hit three fours and no sixes so far. That's not enough.

Why are you analysing their approach based on the end result when they've clearly tried to hit many sixes that have failed?

The slowness of the cricket. Edges didn't carry and good shots dribbled away for one. Even now there's no value for good shots.

I watched all of day 4 mostly because I was enjoying looking up records Cook might be breaking rather than because of the cricket on show.
