The Tiger King
bring on the match already.

Looking forward to watching Shah and Rashid after their training with Shane Warne.

theegyptian

International Vice-Captain
Cook likely playing injured, Bairstow wicketkeeping, Samit, Plunkett or Jordan to replace Wood. What could possibly go wrong? Hope for Bairstow's sake that he keeps ok.

I doubt they would be much different. Judging from this video, the only they thing might have gained would be more confidence from the fact that Warne rates them.

Pretty much junior cricket advice that.

You feel that being asked to win in the UAE is hard enough without having to bat second all the time. I'm not saying win the toss means win but it ****ing well helps

First Class Debutant
I couldn't sleep all night in hope we might actually win the toss and bat but instead i'm gonna be watching Anderson bowling maidens while everyone else gets milked, then watch Pak slaughter Patel (which will be the best part). I love cricket but sometimes I ****ing hate it.

Actually, each of Pakistan's losses over the last 18 months in UAE (vs SA, NZ and SL) have happened after they batted first and were bowled out relatively -cheaply. As I've said repeatedly, Pakistan in UAE are prone to collapses, and have been beaten quite often. Just needs a quality spell of bowling up front to bowl them out and then mercilessly bat Pak out of the match, as each of those three teams did (with Smith, Mccullum/KW, and Mahela). I think England have the bowlers to induce that early collapse, but not quite the batting to be merciless enough to grind Pakistan down.
