Cricketer Of The Year
It appears my concerns about England's bowling were not unfounded. Just no star bowler unfortunately.
That may well be true (and I think England fans thought as much too). But there's no doubt it's easier to bat now than it was earlier. Ball is coming on so much better.

Kudos to EnZed for putting our batting effort into perspective.

I mean, it's no secret the Black Caps' strength is their batting, but then so is ours. How we let a team with two proper bowlers (or maybe two and a half if one counts Santner) restrict us to ~280 is criminal.

We all called stead an idiot for playing a top order batting allrounder as a #7/8 bowling allrounder for a year straight but it turns out he was playing 5d chess all along. Genius from the great man.
