**** I hate Hadley. Worst NRL commentator by far. Also thought it was a low act having a big dig at the Manly board and the Parra club seeing as though they are Fatty and Sterlo's teams.

Also, how great to see QLD retain the series. So QLD own Origin, Domestic Cricket Shield, A League. What a state.
Hadley is a ****. I remember when he started calling the footy on radio, and he and the blokes he had with him were really refreshing as they were a change from the established, and then dominant, radio calling pair of Hartley and Peter Peters.

But then as Hadley's team became more popular, they just became an even more bellicose version of the two they usurped. It's now got to the point where Hadley just thinks he's bigger than the game.

Anyone who can call a big game on radio where the score is tied with 5-10 minutes to go and stop calling the game to read out an email from Ned who's on holiday in Banff saying how great he thinks Ray is, needs the commentary judo chop.

Brisbane getting talked up the last few weeks, but I can't see them winning. I think the the fact they'll go blind when they actually play a game in the daylight after 17 Friday night games in a row will count against them.

I'm beginning to suspect they're vampires such is the desperation of the NRL to keep them out of the sunlight.

LOL! We've played half of our last 4 games in the daylight and have two in a row coming up. Won't be a problem. Infact the only two day games we've played we've scored 90 combined points. Give us more day games!

Half of the last 4? So 2? haha

Actually, as far as I can make out you've only played 1/4 of the last 4 in daylight. There's been 3 Friday night games in a row...and 13 out of 17 for the season (including 8 in a row at the start).

It's nice to have a regular playing schedule.

I don't understand why the Broncos cop it for getting Friday night games. Their preference is for Sunday afternoon crowds. It's Channel 9 who choose the Friday night games, not the clubs. As I said previously, as a fan I'd much prefer to see my team score 45 points on a Sunday afternoon than winnning by 2 on a Friday night.

My employer bought us season tickets for the year and, even with these free tickets, I have gone to just three Friday night games so far this year. I absolutely hate going to the footy on a cold Friday night at the end of a working week. I loved our one Sunday game against Newcastle though. Day-time footy rocks! Friday nights are also unrealistic for very elderly people, and for little kids.

The tv networks choosing the games schedule is balls for oh so many reasons. I've mentioned before that the money is only one component of what I'd consider a successful tv deal. Friday night Broncos is one of the things that needs to be out of here.

Who do you support out of curiosity?

You have us at a disadvantage.

Never in it really. We don't make it very difficult for teams to find points when they want them, which is why we lose so many games. Game still very much on and Heighington (of all ****ing people) lumbers 40 meters with literally no hand laid on him kind of sums up our season.

We've had some rough years but I don't remember ever wanting a season to finish as much as this one.

I don't think it's for the Friday night games really, I think other clubs were a bit pissed off at the consistency of their schedule. A week turnaround between games regularly must be of some benefit to the players.
