In the end, take away any of the comical **** ups that lead to tries and this game is still live in the final minute. Take away two of them and we're in front.

Qld a bit good if I'm fair. Hate seeing us as such a joke though.

Morris is obvious enough. Gildey was probably better than Ennis would have been so I'm not too upset about him.

Nah he was absolute trash, only really comparable to the worst Ennis can dish up. As much as he can cost you with brain explosions, Ennis is a far better hooker than Gidley, and not having him was a part of the reason we got absolutely zero go forward in that second half. We were pelting it around in our own half like idiots partly because we were playing like idiots, but partly because we couldn't get a roll on any other way.

Mini and Pearce definitely stole the show from him tonight though.

NSW had a good 8 minutes...hope they learned that you need to actually have the ball to win though.

QLD too good, although it's sad to see Slater so involved. Especially when he doesn't have anyone with depression to abuse.

The fairytale script is Lockyer getting knocked out in the first 5 minutes, 4 more QLDers getting carried off before half-time and them finishing with 10 men on the pitch and looking at a 50 point deficit...probably won't happen though.

Really dominated possession, something like 90 less tackles at half time than the Blues. I don't think people really appreciate how much that takes out of a team. It really set the platform for our great team to show their wares. All told, NSW probably lost the series in Game One - that was the one that got away. If they headed to Sydney one game up, it would have been a massive ask for Qld to pull it back from there.
