3 forward passes, 4 penalties in 4 sets, and a left edge defense that resembles tissue paper more than it does a professional rugby league team. The word pathetic is getting good rotation atm.

Haha yeh, I strangely had $22 on them to win. Wasn't that impressed with their first half.

Looking back on it, $10 for us at half time was a good value bet. We had next to no ball, Knights have been chased down a couple of times this year, as have many other teams.

So stoked we came back from that. Loving our pack even in it's current weakened state. Most underrated in the comp for mine. McKendry and to a slightly lesser extent Grant are really looking like the real deal this year. The less said about our left edge the better though.

You could lead by 40 atm at half time and still get beaten. Been some shocking 2nd halves this season.

Had a shocker in the tips too. Only got 2.

Have always rated Tim Grant, like most props though he has taken time to develop but he has really progressed playing with Civoniceva. The only concern for mine is his work rate is a little low, you'd like him to be taking closer to 14-16 hit ups per match rather than 8-10.

I think we're in the middle of witnessing one of Australia's great sporting dynasties. The Melbourne Storm - with Bellamy, Slater, Smith, Cronk, Hoffman and Inglis all locked away in long term deals - could well appear in seven or eight Grand Finals in a row. I've got no doubt they've made a pact to stay together and create an absolute juggernaut; the likes of which Australian sport has not witnessed since St George in the 1960s.

It's an interesting observation and another thing to look at is I have no doubt that some players will stay for less simply to be part of the team and play under Bellamy in the same way players used to with Bennett and the Broncos. It's a big call to say they'll make that many grand finals in a row but you'd think they are a good shot this year and that gets them to 5.

Yep, you'd reckon each of those five guys - Slats, Inglis, Smith, Cronk, Hoffman - would be on significant 'unders'; probably each be on around $350 000 to $400 000. If they paid each of them market value, the other 12 guys in the team would be playing for free. I reckon all five will probably head over to England in a few year's time, at the tail end of their careers, for some 'superannuation'. By sticking together with Bellamy and copping less cash, they're certainly carving out some wonderful memories.

Gus said on Friday arvo that Brett Finch is the oldest player in the team at 28. Both Slater and Smith both turn 26 this year, even though they have been around forever

Shocking week of tipping from CW, with a raft of upsets leaving only Morgieb with a better than 50% record. Bugssy, Julian and Bob all get cut from the comp for their third week of inactivity. (although they can rejoin on 1 point lower than the lowest score if they wish at a later point)

Morgieb's top score for the round shoots him back to the top of the table on bonus points with Nufan, yours truly and dcye on his heels.

Overall

Tipping the opposite this weekend of who I think will win. Expecting to go better.
