Perry in the driver's seat gives me the shivers.
With Alan Tongue playing 5/8 for the Raiders im tipping a scoreline of 6-4 or something similar. Wont be much creativity in this game. Waste of $30 coming up.

Marsh out for Brisbane and Ennis is also a major doubt. Be surprised if we have enough players to play first grade and toyota cup tomorrow.

Massive shifts in the betting this afternoon:

Canberra and Parramatta are both now favourites against the Broncs and Tigers respectively.

Meanwhile the Cowboys, on the back of JT's inclusion, have tightened dramatically.

I'm a NSW supporter and I agree. If Inglis would rather play for Queensland, why the hell would we want him? Clear lack of any intelligence there for mine.

Seriously though, as long as we don't have cases where players play for one state just because they can't get a game with another, I'm fine with players just choosing where they want to play. Passion and loyalty is the fabric of Origin; not borderlines and technicalities. If Inglis considers himself a Queenslander, I don't want him playing for NSW.
AWTA - by that Karmichael Hunt should play for New Zealand then. Heck he considers himself more Australian then Kiwi and would rather play for Australia then good luck to him.

Broncos were woeful today. Had pretty much the whole 2nd half on fast forward. I liked Moon at 5/8 and with a bit more experience in the top grade he could develop well. Certainly has a long boot on him. Can definitely see him in the utility role next year and take Lockyer's place when he finally hangs up the boots.

Thought David Taylor had an improved game. Apart from that not too many positives, although I was surprised at Perry's pace (and step) to score a try.

Canberra were too good allround, with Campese having an excellent game.

Brisbane's first half effort, and I don't care how many players we had out, was one of the more limp chapters in our otherwise proud history.

The under 20's couldnt even put up a good effort to make it a worthwhile day out. Think they were down 46-0 before scoring twice late. Overall very poor performance from Brisbane.

Meanwhile the Parra juggernaut just rolls on with convincing wins against a vastly under strength Raiders last week backed up by a thumping of the Wests Tigers SG Ball forward pack.

Curious that it took Hagan 5 weeks longer than every fan in the NRL to realise Grothe was a liability. Mind you, how long will it take other sides to realise that kicking behind this new Williams kid, who weighs 115 kgs and plays on the wing, might be a good idea?

Is there nothing this side cannot do now? Got the Sharks next, who will be hard to beat but don't have many points in them. I fully expect the creative genius of Daniel Wagon to get us home

Still like Parra tbh, they have a lot of good things about them, can see them winning enough games to finish top 6 and give themselves a big chance of taking out the comp.

Even ignoring the testimony of some of the people who helped raise him, I think the fact that he decided to play for Queensland is a fair indication of who he wanted to play for. If he wanted to play for NSW, he'd have told Queensland to GAGF.
My apologies.

Hope no-one put any money on the Cowboys. After leveling at 18 got done in the last 5 minutes with converted tries to Gidley and Mullen. Cowboys will struggle to make the 8.

:(. Was the only game I had money on and the only one I tipped wrong. Lost about $50 this weekend. Collingwood and West Coast hurt the most.

Last sentence is the biggest understatement of the year. Don't think they have a hope in hell. More likely to get the spoon than a finals berth.
