AgreedPretty much over hearing Inglis should be playing for NSW tbh.
Agree with that actually, blame Billy Moore. That's all right mate, we're sick of hearing about "Qld spirit" when they win yet refusing to acknowledge "NSW spirit" when Qld lose.
(Not posters on here BTW, more the mainstream, brain-dead RL media).
Good old Billy. TBF to him he rarely, if ever let Qld down.Agree with that actually, blame Billy Moore.
hmm ok.Origin series should be unoffical until Inglis plays for NSW
I'm a NSW supporter and I agree. If Inglis would rather play for Queensland, why the hell would we want him? Clear lack of any intelligence there for mine.Pretty much over hearing Inglis should be playing for NSW tbh.
I agree with this even more though. I could understand why they spun it that way in years gone by when Queensland had a significantly inferior team on paper and one anyway, but it's clearly not the case this year. Queensland should win this year on paper, yet the Origin II result put down the Queensland spirit and the Origin I result was put down to selectorial mishaps. You can't have your cake and eat it too, Queensland. That's all right mate, we're sick of hearing about "Qld spirit" when they win yet refusing to acknowledge "NSW spirit" when Qld lose.

Further to that, it was proved Inglis was eligible for both, the rules are utterly stupid for allowing it to be like that. But really Inglis can and wants to play for Queensland then where is the problem/I'm a NSW supporter and I agree. If Inglis would rather play for Queensland, why the hell would we want him? Clear lack of any intelligence there for mine.
Seriously though, as long as we don't have cases where players play for one state just because they can't get a game with another, I'm fine with players just choosing where they want to play. Passion and loyalty is the fabric of Origin; not borderlines and technicalities. If Inglis considers himself a Queensland, I don't want him playing for NSW.
I'm pretty sure the only people who buy into the whole "Queensland care more about Origin thing" are those who find the channel 9 commentary team informative and believe everything that comes out of the mouth of Danny Wiedler.I agree with this even more though. Pretty sure he's quite happy playing for Queensland. We'll never know if Inglis wants to play for NSW or Queensland.
I think he made it pretty clear who he wanted to play for when he told the Queensland selectors he was eligible and then actually played for Queensland. We'll never know if Inglis wants to play for NSW or Queensland.
What I meant was before he played for QLD.Pretty sure he's quite happy playing for Queensland.
Circumstantial evidence at best......I think he made it pretty clear who he wanted to play for when he told the Queensland selectors he was eligible and then actually played for Queensland.
