NSW coach Craig Bellamy has opted for Turner to join his 18-man squad in Sydney but won't decide on his final line-up until centre Mark Gasnier faces a fitness test on his injured hamstring later in the week.

Canberra's Joel Monaghan is another possibility and is currently in the Blues camp as cover for injured centre Mark Gasnier
Reckon that reads that either Monaghan or Turner could play in place of Hayne

Yeah no decison has been made who will play on the wing yet. It is still 50/50 between Turner and jnr Monnas. Quinn also likely to play in centres if Gasiner out, due to his better defence.

Great to see Sailor back to the NRL. I think it's fantastic that guys like him and Ben Cousins can finish their careers being remembered, not as drug takers, but as the people who fought their way through a dark patch and came out the other side.

Scott Prince has been drafted into the Queensland squad to cover for both Thurston and Lockyer. Thurston has injured his groin at training last night, but is not in serious doubt, but Lockyer has not trained at all and will only run for 20 minutes today. Meninga is leaving the decision to Lockyer's fitness to the man himself.

Not the greatest of build ups for the Maroons.

God I'm sick of refs ******* up this game. The Warriors just scored a try after an offside player picked up a ball from someone who didn't play at it, the video ref was called and he misses that very important fact. This is the same bloody thing that cost Newcastle last week and now I have to watch the Warriors win another game because of this ****. Thank goodness there's a Union test on tommorow so I don't have to watch anymore of this dire ****.

As I just go back to the Warriors game I see they are now behind again. The sooner the NRL kick the Warriors out the better btw, I'm sick of having to listen to Jason Costigan and Peter Ropati, if there's a hell, it'll be listening to them 24/7.

I'll take the Warriors but off to North Korea for Costigan and Ropati

Don't worry mate. You've got Hunt on the bench to slot into 5/8!

Broncos game was disappointing last night. Thought we had a real shot. Why Bennett doesn't play Moon instead of Stagg at 5/8 is beyond me, and Robinson is out of position way too much. Those Morris brothers are ugly buggers.

The ref killed the game. Shocking for both teams.

Was loving the talk on the Footy Show this morning. Talking up how good N.S.W. are (and they are) and how Qld have been disrupted and how it will be a massive blow if Lockyer is not fit (and it will be) also talk about Price's match fitness.

I honestly prefer that talk around origin time than the talk coming into game 1 how it was the best backline ever, and possibly Qld's greatest ever side selected. Makes me feel a lot more confident. We play better when we're Underdog, we play even better when we're given no chance. Feelin' good atm.

Agree slightly, but I'd be more confident with Darren Lockyer fully fit (which I doubt we will ever see again).

Yeah hate this talk about NSW being favorites. Queensland still have one of best backlines in game and have better forward pack then game one. So going to get put back in our place on Wednesday. We have like one front rower too and White wouldn't even make the Queensland side.
