NSW went into game one with two props and they are going into this one with just one. Interesting.

Haha love how you keep using the words "my spies", newspapers and websites are hardly spies lol. Anyway Boyd being there is really a joke. He's improved a lot but hes still fairly average.

Scott Prince must surely be considering whether or nor he has any New Zealand heritage as it seems the only way he will get a rep jersey. He has been there to play for the Warriors, so it should count

Rubbish selections though, Boyd WTF? Hunt at fullback and Slater on the wing would make more sense, and the only logic that Harrison gets picked because of his versatility. my local paper was calling for the selection of Prince ahead of Thurston on the basis of current form Prince is playing a lot better then Thurston (their words not mine) this season. And look to watch Prince carve up the Melbourne Storm Toyota Cup team (well it will be for the main game with 10 starting players out including Will Chambers season ending knee injury).

They were made up for by Hodges staying on the field though. That was horrid. 3-5 weeks I reckon. Hayne will get 1 or 2.

Well done to Brisbane for realising, when Hagan apparently can't, that running at Grothe tends to work quite well.

Good one Eric, had you not played, Parra win by 18. Go and play the guitar, you useless ****.
Well he has been dropped, so that will make your day.

Barrett looks set to join Cronulla apparently.

Thank God he's gone. Haven't felt this good about someone's axing since 24 November last year.

If that's the Qld side, the pack is inifinitely stronger than the 1st game. Is Webb injured, or has the myth been shown for what it is?

At least Prince being left out is understandable this time, first game it wasn't. Can see Lockyer playing the full 80, so shouldn't be much need for a playmaker off the bench. Would rather see Hunt start and Slater off the bench, which will probably happen. Still wish Prince was picked though.

We will miss Hodges big time.

Anyway, is there any reason we don't have a State of Origin thread? The series isn't actually part of the NRL 2008 season as such.

No real need for another thread really IMO. All Aussie RL fans just talk about it in here anyway. Last time we had one, half the discussion was there, the other half was here.

Ugh, Tate in the centres. The least they can do this time is make sure Inglis & Falou play on the same side of the park imo.
