Happy that Broncos won in the end.. Atmosphere at the ground was nothing short of electric.. loved it, it was my 2nd Grand Final and this probably is the best out of the two..

3 shocking calls by the ref got brisbane home. these calls made the difference in getting brisbane over the line. what a disappointing end to the season. brisbane fans are a disgrace imo

Brisbane lucky to get home due to some refereeing decisions going in their favour. Melbourne have been far more consistent and definately a better team through the year and probably deserved to win it. On the night however I thought Brisbane were bloody good, Lockyer, Berrigan, Webcke and Caroll were all great. Pity we didn't see much of Inglis, Hunt and Hodges though.

It wasn't the refs calls that won us the game, it was our defence. Melbourne had over 10 decent opportunities to score, with several of their sets starting in our own 20. They just weren't good enough to get past us.

Suffer in your jocks. Brisbane are Premiers and that's all there is to it.

it should have been a try, i said to my dad at the time it was a poor decision and everyone will look back on that and say Melbourne were robbed. Brisbane were the better side and despite the ref and his incompetent touch judges we deserved to win. Shane Webcke goes out a winner, what a champ and his last game was as good as he's played.

What about Wayne Bennett? its probably about time i admitted i was wrong, 2 months ago i said he should be sacked and we would never win another comp while he was in charge. tbh this would have been a perfect time for him to stand aside though, a premiership win, what a great way it would have been for him to go out...

Same here, the job he done on Inglis last night was truly awesome. He never let him out of his sights, he knew he had to shut him down otherwise the game could've been completely different. And a good honest guy by all accounts too, Berrigan that is.

Highlight of the night for me was the hit on Petero, by Kidwell I think it was. Didn't think they man could ever be knocked down. Few bad decisions, but Broncos deserved to win.

That is ridiculous, Matt Orford or Cooper Cronk should be in there ahead of Ben Hornby. Personally I would have Orford at 7, Lockyer at 6 and Thurston on the bench.
