cowboys are shot ducks, goodbye 2006...Craig said:I think it is and it should be once you play Origin, that is it, like Fien has. He probably figured as much chance of playing Origin again as there is of Parramatta has of winning the minor premiership and the same can be said so his chances of playing for Australia.
David Faimiu has mixed feeling of it because he believes it could be blocking bona-fide Kiwis a chance by picking a bunch of Australians on a technicality who are looking for a chance of playing rep footy. However, TBF Fien has sought the blessing from Ruben Wiki who has supported him in making himself eligible for NZ.
In the Cowboys - Bulldogs game, the Doggies are leading 30-0 at half time with the prospect of a 50 or even 60 point score line. I have never seen so many holes in a sides defence, and I think Souths could have defended better with some of the Bulldogs tries
What has happened with them?
Call of the season by me... I think it was about round 11 or 12...broncoman said:cowboys are shot ducks, goodbye 2006...
Yeah it's a pretty ordinary competition. Most teams only 'show up' when they feel like it. We have the pathetic situation where teams who have lost more games than they have won, could well make the finals. Really, who wants to see dud teams make the play-offs? People might say "oh the competition is so close, how fantastic". It's only close because many teams share the same trait - absolute mediocrity. Teams like Melbourne, Parramatta and Bulldogs have these massive winning streaks mainly because they're about the only three sides who show unconditional application / hunger, and actually concentrate and complete their sets of six.broncoman said:out of all the teams vying for the finals spot on Parramatta are playing like they want it.
who knows 26 could get you 5th or 6th this year and you would usually need 28 to make the 8...

hes living in a bubble, he has been for 18 years. It's time for him to realise there is a world outside the brisbane broncos...Craig said:Seriously how can Wayne Bennett not deny that they are not in a crisis and a form slump? Time for him to quit.
Raiders have a good record against Canterbury. Remember the monday match at Telstra Stadium this year when the raiders have 2 players injured early and beat the dogs with 15 men. Also the 7th place team has beaten 2nd more than 2nd has beaten 7th since the McIntyre system came in...Craig said:If Andrew Johns isn't seriously injuried anytime soon, then I think Newcastle have every chance of making the GF or going very far. I think the Raiders could be a decent shout of making the semi finals, but that may depend on where they finish in the table then they have very little or no chance of beating the Bulldogs and snowball's in hell at Olympic Park, so would be pretty unlucky in that regard, but stranger things have happened. I mean a lot of people were tipping the Raiders and Melbourne to really struggle, but that isn't the case.
