What an amazing game the Knights v Broncos was. It was a high scoring affair, but both defences weren't that bad (except for a few moments), there was just some amazing attacking brilliance on show. IMO that was Lockyer's best game ever at 5/8, he is so much better when he tries to get his hands on the ball with every play. If Brisbane had of won McGuire would have got MOM - he was brilliant, both he Parker did not harm their origin chances at all.

I wasn't really paying attention to the Newcastle players unless they were getting smashed or injured. He was ok, did what he had to do. The only really stand-out performer IMO was McGuire, Newcastle played better among all the players, and of course Johns was on song.

Haven't seen it yet, but we get a delayed broadcast game over here (prob Knights/Broncs) starting @ 10.30am (about two and a half hours from now) that has a round up of other action, so I'll keep eye out.

Broncos vs Knights today was game of the season thus far for mine. Goal line defence went out the window, but who cares, it was a great display from two quality attacking sides... McGuire, Eastwood and Lockyer all played really well for Brisbane while i thought Simpson and Buderus were the Knights best...
