Jason Robinson....?

Tuqiri & Rogers have had their moments too; even Dell looks to be improved this year as well.

Won't mention Henry Paul (unless the RFU set out to spend £200k+ on a 7s specialist) or Farrell tho.
How well did Robinson go in internationals? (I don't watch many English Tests)

How did I forget about Jason Robinson :-O (steds to come in here to post something about playing for Wigan in 5..4..3..2)

TBH I thought Tuqiri and Rogers have looked more reliable then Sailor has in the last four or so years in rugby. There have times when he was brilliant for Queensland and Australia and times when he has been crap.

Pardon my ignorance as I don't get the chance to follow Six Nations all that much but has Farrell played for England yet?

As for Gasiner I have read a few articles about him they reckon he would be a winger instead of a centre as he wouldn't be ready for the centre position in rugby and especially in a World Cup year in 2007.

Although I think (don't quote me as being correct) Tonga played schoolboy rugby.

Easily one of their best backs. Very exciting player to watch too.
In the matches I saw against NZ and Aus he hardly set the world on fire... but as I said before, I didn't see much of him.

You didn't see The Lions in 2001? He was pretty great then. Scored a belter in the first test; Roff (who was no slouch) showed him the outside & Jase accelerated & was round him in the space of about 3 yards.

He was fairly ordinary last year, but his legs have lost that vital yard of pace. I still wonder if he might yet come back to the colours tho. He's an infinitely better player still than Voyce, Cueto or (*spits*) Cohen. The year off may've done him some good.

Hasn't even played for Saracens yet! His knee is pretty much shagged I think & then he broke his toe & suffered a prolapsed disc in his back.

It was always a huge gamble (too huge, IMHO) to sign a 30-year-old with as many miles on the clock as him. IIRC he'd been playing tests for GB since he was 18.

Just watching Roosters v the Broncs. Tight game, not too much in it.

Nice to see Edmondson finally make his debut, but it'd be nicer if the commentator could pronounce his name right: it's Edmond-son not Edmond-stone. How hard can it be?!? :p

Ah yes now I remember. First Test right at the start of the match. That was bloody good.

I like the fact that the Poms and the Kiwis get it live while us Aussies get a delayed telecast :p

Been that way for yonks now, though.

Chooks were absolutely awful 2nd half. Poor old Soliola had one of the most ordinary games you're ever likely to see: 3 knock-ons, messes up a play-the-ball on the first tackle in the Broncs half & then does his medial ligament tackling which they reckon will be him for 4-6 weeks.

When it's not your day.... :p

Impressed with young Eastwood. Big lad isn't he? Looks about 12 too; there's no way he shaves yet!

Tonights game is not that pretty to watch...looks like the Broncos are going to come out on top in a match of indifferent quality really. It highlights the gap between the Knights & the Cowboys vs the rest really.

* An update from our British friends has indicated the Broncos won it seems.

Indeed. Top lad, Edmo. Always gives 110%, quick for a prop, nice bloke and pretty good looking to boot. Didn't expect to see him playing for them this early, though. Pity he had to be on the losing side.

He redeemed himself by jumping ship

And yet another from the school crop of Benji Marshall... Ill tell ya, Keebra park are pumping them out at the moment...

The broncos were lucky to nab him actually, he signed a contract for them about 3 weeks before the Tigers/Keebra deal was done, which would've meant he almost certainly would've been playing for the Tigers...

For the Record, Keebra Currently have 6 players from The Marshall years in either 1st or Premier League..... Hows that for a side???

Eastwood has been around for a bit now, should of played a bit last year but was left in qld cup, not sure if his future lies in the centres, but he could be a good option to play lock...

I believe I know Eastwood from somewhere...

Like living in the same complex as me (though my memory is hazy).
