Well it has always been the case since the finals system came in, and in the case of the TV schedulers, they have to plan 5 weeks out,so it is not as though they can predict what is going to happen and bend over for the AFL.

IMO I see people like Fien who know he won't have much opportunity of playing Origin anytime soon, if ever, and use the fact that he has NZ hertiage as a golden ticket to rep footy. I could be wrong with him, but I do sense this a predicent (sp) happening...
