I read somewhere that Wilson also played for the All Blacks is this true. If it is he must be one hell of a Sportsman
Yup - Second highest try scorer in All Blacks history. Very famous rugby player. Anyone who follows rugby should recognise his name at the least.

I can't believe I missed that. I left home just when the World XI's first wicket fell. I missed all the drama and fun. Noooooo!

Shane Warne has slammed the pitch this morning. Infact he said all 3 pitches were poor.

I disagree. I think the first 2 were pretty good..but obviously the groundsman at Hamilton is still having major problems trying to find a good balance.

I believe NZ's sponsor the National Bank paid $100 for every run & the FICA's sponsor paid $50 for every run in the Ten10 match.

I think the final tally for the series was $1.3 million?
Congratulations to FICA, NZC & to all the New Zealander's who went to the matches.

Has anyone heard anything about Highlights or a replay of the 10/10 match?

I've emailed SKY, but havn't got a reply yet.

Since you come out to bat with only a few overs remaining and scoring 11 from 9 balls.
He had over 5 overs left when he came in - so I would've thought a few more runs would've been required - his batting's better than 11 isn't it?

Havn't heard anything and I wouldn't count on a reply from Sky as I have emailed them on previous occasions without reply.

There were 2 replays on today. I definately saw the 1st one at 10.30 am on Sky Sport 1.

And then im pretty sure there was another one on later around 4 on one of the other channels.

Oh ok - not sure how he could slam the cake-tin where over 500 runs were scored

I went and it was a great day out. Good to see Richardson take out the race at the interval :D

I watched the 10:30 replay and didn't see any of the 10/10 match, only highlights of the scheduled match.

Some of these comments make him sound extremely arrogant - and bear in mind they are direct quotes so can't be changed:

Your form and attitude at the crease suggests otherwise.

Well, we're terribly sorry about that. Would Sir like a state highway installed as the pitch?

Ahhh, that makes everything OK. You were man of the series against Bangladesh - once again furthering your reputation as a flat-track, crap-attack bully.

sorry I missed the quotes from the article - but you'll know what I'm referring to..........

sounds like shades of Macca!!!!!

so far as the pitches go they probably still did a bit too much off the seam for too long to be considered as good OD pitches, but from what I've read it'd be the inconsistant bounce that'd be the major problem..........

still from what I did manage to see they looked to be an improvement on previous efforts..........

so what's the verdict on Goldie - was his selection warranted & should he be persisted with for the AUS series ODIs let alone Test consideration?????

my reaction at this stage is 'yes' to all of the above, particularly if the selectors are looking for some pace with the ball.......so far as Test selection goes (and in view of the 'pace' question) I'd say that both Wilson and Adams would be in consideration ahead of Butler atm..............

actually the more I've thought about Styris' quotes the more ****ed off I am...........were they given b4 or after he was 'rested'????????

if I was coach I'd have him on the bench for at least the next game - don't care who it is or how important the game - IMO you can't afford to have anyone with that sort of attitude - particularly in a 5 man Test batting lineup when he bats at #4...............

IMO that's the sort of attitude that helps denegrate the value associated with representing your Country at your chosen sport...........

furthermore at less than 2 dozen Tests he's still paying his dues IMO...........especially considering he's a converted OD bowling allrounder...........
