Marshall gets 50. Amazing innings.
I repeat that first line.Loony BoB said:McCullum and Marshall at the crease. Kaspa bowling? I'm praying history repeats.
EDIT: Damn, they took Kaspa off. Probably read my mind. Or else it was the 12 runs off his last over.
Yeah, thanks could you please dumb it down for me. You called Australia we in a previous post. You're Australian aren't you? Why don't you support your national team? You said you had an Australian passport but didn't tell me where your loyalties lie and what teams you support ahead of Aussie and why you still refer to Australia as us or we. Until you do I will assume you are Australian and want your own team to lose.Mr Casson said:I most certainly am not. I said I hope Australia loses, which they deserve to given the way they batted. I still support Australia over New Zealand any day.
When I said I'm not Australia's biggest fan, I meant that; I have other teams that I support more, but NZ isn't one of them.
And I think that the way NZ bowled and fielded, they certainly would be deserving winners.
I'm just a fan of good cricket like we are seeing now. I certainly wouldn't feel much pride winning a match where Australia bats like a giant tail.
If you need anything else dumbed down for you I'll do my best.
So what? If he thinks they deserve to lose, so be it. No skin off our backs (I think that's the phrase...).Fiery said:You called Australia we in a previous post. You're Australian aren't you? I just don't like it when people say they want their team to lose when they aren't doing well. It's dummy-spittingBlackCap_Fan said:Is it possible in your mind that he's not biased towards his team to a rudiculous extent?

There's a difference between deserving to lose and wanting NZ to win because I support them. The key thing I mentioned before is the lack of pride in winning a match where the batting was such crap. And yes, I use the word 'we' because I am Australian, just like the team I said doesn't particularly deserve to win (and remember I said that after having seen only the batting).Fiery said:Yeah, thanks could you please dumb it down for me. Fair enough.Fiery said:I just don't like it when people say they want their team to lose when they aren't doing well. It's dummy-spitting
You're batting wasn't that bad. Hayden, Ponting and Symonds all batted well despite some dodgy decisions going your way. I apologise if I jumped on you but get annoyed when people say "I hope they lose" about the team they supportMr Casson said:There's a difference between deserving to lose and wanting NZ to win because I support them. The thing is, I'm just not particularly fussed if we lose, as long as we all see something more entertaining than Aus 3/350 def. NZ 149 on the scorecard.
Thankyou.BlackCap_Fan said:Fair enough.
But I say good on Mr Casson for being a genuine cricket fan.
