What about the first ball of the day when Fleming was given NOT Out? That evened it up!!_Ed_ said:Most of them definitely, but I think McCullum's one was going down leg side.
Maybe. Must say I didn't see that one. Was asleep. I never wake up before about 11am.mavric41 said:What about the first ball of the day when Fleming was given NOT Out? That evened it up!!
You mean BrisbaneScallywag said:You forgot to mention Tendulkars LBW in Adeliade.
I think he means the one on the 1999/00 tour. I thought on replay it was out but I doubt I would have given it had I been the umpire out there. You mean Brisbane
How can you think it would hit when it was clearly missing....Are you blind??FaaipDeOiad said:I thought that was a good decision personally. Batsmen are always afforded less benefit of the doubt if they don't play a shot, and I think it would have hit. A bit like the decision that Langer got in India that a lot of people complained about.
ODI's are already lost and the test series should have been. Our test ranking is crap and Bond has more impact in ODI's so why risk the guy when his back is stabilised with titanium?psxpro said:James marshall is in for the 3rd test.
Mcmillan has been dropped.
Bowling attack stays the same.
would have liked to see us try bond, nothing to lose.
Anyway our performance hasnt been any worse than pakistan recently vs aus
I expect to see some happy (and shocked) Kiwis posting here at that news!psxpro said:James marshall is in for the 3rd test.

Our test ranking is crap, but there's only one way of improving it! And by drawing the series, having lost 3-0 last time, will improve it a decent amount.Blakey said:ODI's are already lost and the test series should have been. Ever heard of being irresponsible? Cause you are if you suggest we play him because "we have nothing to lose". God.
Sure, Fleming is a liability opening, but wouldn't it make sense to bring in a specialist opener? And James Marshall's form is hardly brilliant; playing in the middle order for ND. No, a couple of fifties in 8 innings does not justify national selection. Gaffeney or How (with a little push) should have been considered first. Or forced Vincent to open again, though this would be unfortunate for him.Prince EWS said:It appears James will open the batting, too....
A mistake IMO.
71, 51, 62, 37 in his past four innings. Marshall has a good technique - why not take a punt on them like they did with Cumming and Hamish? To be fair, all the "dark horse batting" selections have all paid off lately.....Will Scarlet said:Sure, Fleming is a liability opening, but wouldn't it make sense to bring in a specialist opener? As said elsewhere, the tests have so far been played on the best batting tracks. I hate to think what will happen in Auckland if the ball is moving off the pitch, like it can.Ming said:71, 51, 62, 37 in his past four innings.
