Yeah he’s played a key role in winning tests against all of the other Asian teams in their backyard. Unfair to label him as “the 10-for but nothing else guy”, though he’s definitely tailed off a bit in the last 2 seasons.

I just don't think these conditions are his go, and they probably never will be. Doesn't mean he can't go and smash tons at home and in the rest of SENA away though. That's still a big majority of games he's gonna play.

It is interesting how good his ODI record in India is, but the pitches aren't really as spicy in that format.

Mitchell is proof that even if you're not great against spin you can get a lot out of being decisive and committing to your scoring options.

having said that Delport would actually be a solid pick. Accurate, can bowl quick, mostly sidespin.

Really hoping he really is the batting Matt Henry. Beautiful technique but chequered test performances in and out of the side before it all clicka and he becomes a huge asset who should never be left out
