*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Can India set up an unlikely victory? A declaration an hour into tomorrow if they move things along?
24 over already lost due to rain .

So not enough time for indian win .

NZ still has better chance to win if they can restrict india lead to 150 .

It turned like a Mumbai day 4 pitch
With Gabba bounce. I honestly don't think he bowled that well iirc but he probably would have taken a big bag against just about anyone, just totally impossible to play him on that deck when you have good length balls well outside off stump hitting batsmen basically on the chest.

To be fair that particular "NZ pitch" was about as friendly a pitch for Lyon's bowling as you could possibly imagine.
Okay bad example but my point is valid , you can't drop a batsman because you think he will fail when he hasn't been given a chance in those conditions and is scoring runs in the team

These two are running out of their share of luck here. Going to need more of it to get through this new ball it looks brutal .

Really good 150

Sarfaraz on 150* now has an average of 70 in both FC (70.33) and Test cricket (70.00)

Oops

Pretty tame end to a good knock. Sarfaraz swung the momentum with his takedown of Ajaz Patel yesterday and India never looked back up to now. 52-4. KL needs to see off the new ball with his experience.
