*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

NZ white ball tour itinerary for tour to Sri Lanka is out:
2 T20s - 9th and 10th of November

3 ODIs - 13, 17, 19 Nov

The 1st test against England starts on Thursday 28 Nov, so hopefully none of our test players will tour SL.
Nice, something to look forward to. NZ don’t play a ton of white ball overseas (unless it’s Pakistan apparently). Though the kind of pitches SL have been dishing out will require some ability with/against the turning ball to put it mildly.

The rain returning and play has been called off for the day.

A good first day for NZ we are still on level terms with India.

BCCI's incompetency knows no bounds. Legendary idea to host games in South India this time of the year. Absolute state of this so called richest board
Totally agree. Pathetic from the BCCI once again. 3 of the 4 tests in India so far have been a farce, all down to terrible scheduling.

They need to start scheduling most of the test series in the late JAN to MAR window. And the odd test series in the mid Oct to Dec period but away from South of India.

A classic case of having a lot of dollars but no cents,, India is a big country there are other test venues where it is less likely to rain at this time of year.
North is extremely dry and in perfect weather condition to play some cricket at present . Winter is just about to start.
It's ironic that test vs Afg was scheduled during peak monsoon season in the North lol
They just schedule games randomly I think.

Yeah, it’s understandable that you have to allocate based on which state association is due for a game, but really need to put more thought into it. At least one BLR game was rain effected during the world cup last year.
