Mills aint too bad with the bat. If anything I would say he is a better batsman than Adams. IMO Mills and Adams are fighting it out for one spot.

Mills bowling through his overs at the start is a good idea, it keeps the pressure on after Bond has left the attack.

However if Adams is playing then he should open the bowling, he seems to bowl better with a hard ball.

Anyway this isn't the main concern, get Astle opening and drop Vincent down!
If Bracewell doesn't do this then I'm not watching another NZ ODI!!....................I swear......EVER! :)

How can India defeat New Zealand

India can actually defeat New Zealand going by the strategy that this article outlines. But the point is does India follow any strategy while playing game. I feel this is where India lacks. For some time John Wright seemed to be guiding India towards that direction. Followed by the recent slumps India has seemed to have lost its way. Will Chappell be able to take forward the unfinished task left by Wright?

That "strategy" doesnt say much really.

The only tactical bit to it was to let Harbhajab bowl to McCullum, and then to see off Bond and hammer the other bowlers. The rest of it is all just comments on the form of the New Zealanders really, rather that technical flaws or plans to get them out.

Solid start here without being spectacular...44/0 after 10 overs.

Bond and Vettori are being rested and what do you know, Vincent is down the order.

Currently I'm fuming because I've been booted off the tv by my sister and parents so they can watch a DVD they got out a week ago. Why did they have to watch it now?

That doesnt fly in my household.

If you have a DVD or video, you can not impose it on others because you can watch it at any time you please, as opposed to the shows currently on television.

Believe me I tried that argument. They got it out a week ago and tried to put it on when our last game against India was on. I won then though, since the parents were on my side that time. Now they say that since I watched the cricket then its their turn now. Oh the injustice.

Anyway, we've picked the pace up, now 105/3 in the 19th with Vincent just run out for 37 at a SR of 160. Typical, we start playing some shots when I can't watch.

McCullum! 20 off that over. Great stuff :)

Edit: and Styris gets his 50 from 84 with only 3 fours. Sensible batting there to setup the innings...

Though I think he should open up now, and if he gets out we still have awesome Adams and Vettori.
