Once Bond gets back into the groove he'll definately be clocking 150 km's. He's reaching 147 k's without looking like he's putting much effort into it.
The beauty about Bond's bowling action (aesthetically, if not technically) is that he never looks like he's putting that much into it, anyways.

No doubt that if he does manage to get a good deal of cricket in soon, he'll be over the 150s, though.

Cairns did not look the part sadly.
Yeah, he might actually be in danger of being the one to make way when Nathan Astle returns to the side.

Lol Ed I doubt it. He probably hasn't played much cricket lately. He would have to bowl that badly again against India and make no runs and then he would come into consideration to be dropped.

Cairns can't be dropped on one bowling performance..

The man has played hardly any cricket in the offseason, only appearing for a suggestive and innuendo filled television commercial promoting his family business.

True but surely Astle will come back...who goes? Can't drop a man after scoring 172. Styris?

last couple of paragraphs of the article say that other players who are playing well deserve a shot at India, "tactical reason and not form"

Cairns drop?

Whatever it takes!!!
I get the feeling that India will not only get beaten but get pummelled. They deserve to lose that way too. Their unprofessionalism is reaching new heights every day.

You are absloutely right honestbharani,

Ashish Nehra now he has some seriouse atitude issues,he is no better then his team mates so he better stop shouting at them, remember how he was angry at Harabhajan singh.

I have this feeling that india will win, :)

10/2, oh dear.

Pathan and Nehra bowling brilliantly.

Hopefully from an NZ point of view Astle and H.Mashall find some form today.

They really are bowling well.

But NZ have a ridiculously strong batting lineup, McCullum at 9, Vettori at 10 and Adams at 11...surely someone has to play a decent innings...
