Think that was against really weak opposition though. Namibia, IIRC.Chubb said:Interestingly, Craig Wishart has a highest ODI score of 178*. Game on!
I'd have loved to see them put him in for the unbeaten Vincent as a way of showing what a stupid rule it is.shaka said:who for though?
Hmm, interesting. Let them have 50 though!Dark Hunter said:Why is it saying on cricinfo that Zimbabwe are getting 50 overs? Or is that just there scorecard screwing up?

Yup. CricBuzz is faster as well. CricInfo is normally a bit funnier though.Loony BoB said:Cricinfo have been horrible today. I suggest you keep up with the game via Cricbuzz instead for this one.
Absolutely, it was v. Namibia, I was lying by omission. first game of the 2003WC, when flower and Olonga made their black armband statement for the first time. I used to have the innings on video. I tell you, NZ should be very worried about him.Steulen said:Think that was against really weak opposition though. Namibia, IIRC.
He is good, he's been pushed in too early, but he is a very natural striker of the ball, just needs to work on his technique and he could average mid 30's. Give it three or four years and Zim might have a useful batting unit with him, Taibu and Masakadza.Steulen said:You know, this Brendon Taylor dude could become really good, imho. He's only 19.
Mahwire does have potential, so does Mpofu, Rainsford, and especially Panyangara. If there is a change in regime, which is not unlikely in the next few years then maybe Ervine, Friend, Olonga etc. might come back. I have been very disppointed with blignaut since his return though, and with Cremer this series.Tim said:they're going to need to find some decent bowlers first.
Are we talking about NZ or Zimbabwe?Tim said:they're going to need to find some decent bowlers first.
