Jimmy will be happy with a 37 not out to boost his average.

Good job to the bowlers. Perhaps wheeler is part of the solution

Well, I hope to never see Colin Munro in an international ever again. What a hopeless ****.

For me I think Worker would have to open, I mean that's what he does doesn't he. But then you're not really giving Latham much of a chance if you move him again. Either way just get Munro out of the team, FMD. Up there with Nicol and Ingram as worst batsman I've seen play for NZ recently.

You all know I love Manu to death but he's not watching the ball - which is usually his great strength, seeing it early. Bowled by Stokes in the T20 swiping at length, then absolutely never looked at the ball that got him today. Confidence thing, not at all saying he won't play for NZ again..but batting at 4 when you're not seeing it is a recipe for disaster.

That commentator who shouted at me every time Zimbabwe did something decent, I'd be dropping him before Manu.

Devcich is a decent player of spin bowling so he'd be handy enough in these conditions.

I mean seriously, watch Munro bat for five minutes and you can tell he isn't up to this level. Who comes into an international team at number four, 20 overs into a game and tries a reverse slog second ball? That idiot. Although tbf he's probably better off batting like that because his technique batting left handed is probably worse.

Shame Watling hasn't been given a chance with Taylor out for the South African tour. Ronchi has been next to worthless since the World Cup started, averaging 11 since the first game against Sri Lanka. Could play both Neesham and Anderson with Watling in the team.

I think a replacement like Brownlie or Watling will have to be called in for Taylor early next week, rather than them just making do with the 15 fit players they have on tour.

A bench of Munro-Henry-Milne-Bracewell has no real balance or optionality to it at all, which Hesson would hate.

Reverse biffs are Munro's game and they work well for him. I don't think there's much point in him changing his game. He is what he is.

That's fine. Just keep him away from the New Zealand team because that isn't working at the international level, I don't care how well he can play them off Steven Croft or Tim Johnston.

He did it pretty well against someone last year? might've been Bangladesh? can't remember.

If you were as non-judgemental as Hesson is, but wanted a slightly more stylish pet to come in lower down and either entertain or embarrass, CdG is the superior choice.
