Been away all weekend and missed most of the last two days, anyway would rate us about 50:50 to bat this out from here. Hope we can go into second test still 0-0 and try somehow snaffle a win. Gonna have to improve a lot on this match tho, and perhaps make changesto th XI.

Didn't realise he'd had quite such a horrible run of form. Such a shame since he was arguably our best performing batsman during the Australian series last year.

I honestly thought it was about 50-50 at lunch. NZ realistically had to bat until tea - and score at a reasonable rate, around 2.5 an over - and WI had to take five wickets. The hour since lunch has been all one-way traffic. And the weather seems OK now after that earlier stoppage.
