Gayle. Brutal.

**** bowling, mind.

Looks like the second test all over again. Windies 10 wicket win.

Very disappointing bowling performance in those last nine overs - probably a good thing that stumps arrived when it did. Need to come back a lot stronger and a lot more patient tomorrow.

To be honest, your posting style is utter **** and resorting to insults like that won't endear you to anyone. To talk about "spiteful conversation" - sorry when one guy gets something factual completely wrong and argues the toss about it, he deserves to be pulled up. When that same guy does it repeatedly, there is no other thing to call it except ignorance. When someone like you throws an insult out, realistically, it's the result of a small mind.

If you don't want it to turn spiteful, don't be spiteful - I don't insult anyone, I insult their points.
Did you previously post on ESB?

Black Caps revert to type and undo all the good work they've achieved this past summer.

They're better than this. Being out of the spotlight takes the pressure to perform off their shoulders.

8 wicket win to the Windies coming up.

Player ratings time!

Rudders 2 (did he take a catch?)
Fulton 2
Latham 8
Kane 6
Taylor 6
McCullum 4
Neesham 9
Watling 7
Craig 8 (batting) 6 (ball)
Sodhi 5 (batting) 5 (ball)
Southee 3 (batting) 7 (ball)
Wagner (not enough game time to rate)
Boult 6 (batting) 5 (ball)

Have I missed anyone?

Ugh, not a great score to wake up to. Still, 290 isn't the end of the world, and WI's tail is so ludicrously long that NZ should be disappointed if they concede anymore than 350. Not the best start with the ball though.

This thread is such trash. Woke up at 5am in Indonesia to see how the day had gone but its just a bunch of poo flinging monkeys in here.

Decent day for the Windies, but oh boy, With that kind of tail theres no guarrantees. Its a shame as well With Blackwood scoring 63 on debut last match. Ill try watch some highlights later if the electricity holds up, but how were the openers looking? If Gayle can get them off to a flyer With Braithwaite holding the other end there's hope yet.

I suggest you look back at your posts today. I don't think many of them meet standards for polite discourse. Mind you, I can also say the same about my (two) previous posts today. And for that I am sorry. I had a bad start to the day and I took it out on you.

I only started watching play just after Watling was dismissed. Neesham made batting look so easy that I was left with the strong impression that the deck was a road. Our bowling only reinforced that. But some posters here and the commentators on Cricinfo seemed to think that 293 was a decent total. And some of our batsmen were clearly dismissed by good balls that did a little something off the deck. Anyway, the NZ bowlers clearly need to lift their game at the start of play tomorrow. If 293 is a decent score, then all it will take is a Gayle cameo to tip the balance of the game.

A good performance from the Windies, although they must surely be rueing dropping Blackwood after how unthreatening Shillingford has looked.

Hoping against hope that Wagner trolls some wickets tomorrow.

Also, if Shillingford is any indication, Craig is not looking likely. Shouldve been Sodhi.

Nah, from what I saw of the pitch today, Craig was definitely the right choice. Fast turn and bounce, on this kind of surface Craig is going to be a much more consistent threat if he can get his lines and lengths right.

It's one over with a shiney new ball. I wouldn't be too worried about it just yet. Obviously if he keeps bowling like this tomorrow then we'll be ****ed.
