Is this going to be something we increasingly come to expect from our Test players now? Even Latham is playing franchise cricket. These guys aren't playing a lot, if any four day cricket in between increasingly big gaps of Test cricket. We don't generally play warm-up matches.

Speaking of which, is there a trend towards unconverted 50s in the last 5 years or so, when T20 started proliferating?
Not for KW there isn't.

(Ignoring specialist bowlers andTaylor, Watling, and CDG) the last 5 years:

Williamson 12 100s; 5 50s
Mitchell 5 100s; 10 50s
Nicholls 4 100s; 3 50s
Conway 4;8
Latham 3; 14
Blundell 3: 10
Ravindra 1: 2
Santner 1:0
Young 0:7
Phillips 0:3
M Bracewell 0:1

"Conway plays well when he's loose. But he was more than loose, he was loosey goosey in that innings yesterday."

Anyone want to guess who the commentary genius who came up with that was?
