Adams, Mills & Bond can all score runs quickly. If they have a good eye today then NZ could easily rack up some handy runs at the end.

The pitch is good, I think they'll need at least 250. Anything above 270 would be tough though because the pitch does appear to be a little tired too.

I assure you andyc, thats one of the best tails Ive ever seen. Vettori, Mills, Adams and Bond all have first class hundreds.

Put it this way, Mills usually bats #5 or #6 for Auckland, Adams around #8 or #9 and Bond is more than capable of batting above 10 if he's in the zone.

200/6..well disappointing dismissal for McMillan but he's given us a platform. I think McCullum will up the tempo now with Vettori.

Always good to have McCullum in there at this stage, I rate him among the best last 10 overs batsmen around.

Good knock from McMillan, disappointing way to get out but he's given us the innings we needed someone to provide.

I think 240-250 will be the final score. Which is ok, its clear that Smith decided around the 15th over that the pitch was slowing up so I think it'll be tricky to chase a target like 250.

33 off 24 needed for 250

Edit: Whoops, not sure what kind of crazy maths I was doing there.
But it's 14 balls for 27 runs. Not impossible

I think its going to be 240..

Sluggish pitch, large boundaries and South Africa are bowling quite well.
