we always seem to suck when batting first.. we normally bat last even when the pitch is good as..

I guess its due to the fact that its so hot there.. and bond wouldnt survive in the heat of bowling first...

Indeed...he's started alright today, good shot just then and he's running well between the wickets which is a good sign. Hope saying that doesn't jinx him.

He was indeed...and he hit that one well too, but it was absolutely brilliantly caught by Gibbs.

Evenly balanced right now. 250 would be very competitive considering NZ probably have a better suited bowling attack for this type of wicket.

They should probably be looking at about 260-275 I reckon. But then I don't know all that much about the Black Caps. Although with Vettori the only competent (that I know of) bat to come, that might be a bit hard
