That's interesting.

We're playing Millwall today.
Good luck although you won’t need it.

I don’t support Millwall but with West Ham their my local geographical team.

Millwall were a complete shower last week against Brighton and Colin Cameron, Millwall’s ‘best’ player has gone back to Wolves. Derby at home (as you probably know) are pretty good (won their last three), beating Premiership hopefuls Palace a couple of weeks back and in Inigo Idiakez they have one of the Championships better midfielders.

Loony BoB

International Captain
MHW Papps c Petersen b Zondeki 6 (19b 1x4 0x6)

A low strike rate for Papps. Disappointing to see him out so early.

New Zealand two down already (26 for 2), How and Papps gone. Kruger and Zondeki with the wickets.

Graeme Smith, the South Africa captain, has recovered from the injury which kept him out of the final Test against Australia last week and returns to captain his side in the first Test against New Zealand next week.

Haroon Lorgat, the national convenor of selectors, announced a 16-man squad on Saturday for the three-Test series which gets underway on April 15 at Centurion.

"We have retained the same squad of players following the tough Castle Test Series against the world's number one team," Lorgan said.

"We believe that the experience will stand them in good stead, and they deserve another opportunity against New Zealand. We will, however, monitor performances carefully as we seek to build a successful Test team".

South Africa squad to face New Zealand
Graeme Smith (capt), Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, Herschelle Gibbs, Ashwell Prince, Jacques Rudolph, Mark Boucher (wk), Shaun Pollock, Nicky Boje, Andre Nel, Makhaya Ntini, Boeta Dippenaar, Andrew Hall, Garnett Kruger, Hashim Amla and Dale Steyn

Shame that, would not mind seeing Kallis lead South Africa a few more times.

It was a pretty poor game, to be honest. Millwall played some decent approach football but never really threatened (Darren Moore was immense in Derby's defence). Ben May was quite lively for Millwall but Carl Asaba spent most of his time playing with his back to goal with no-one to lay the ball off to.

MoM Giles Barnes (Derby) - this kid is 17 and looks to be the best thing since sliced bread (so some Australian will probably steal him). Remember the name - he will be a full England international within 2 years.

I don't see what football has to do with New Zealand playing South Africa in cricket....

Seems like New Zealand are taking a leaf out of South Africa A's book and collapsing in style.
