*Official* New Zealand in India 2010

Do you know what sucks - falling asleep on the couch just before India's innings got underway after watching quite possibly all of New Zealand's cricket this year. Flicking teletext on and seeing "NZ in line for famous victory in India" I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just realised I've got an exam at 3pm tomorrow, and doesn't finish till 5.15. So I'll miss the whole first session. Can't even check the score. Seriously considering ****ing up my future just for a session of test cricket :p

You're guaranteed to **** up anyway. You think you have any chance of getting an A whilst you're constantly fretting about what's happening elsewhere?

Without a doubt, but a **** result in an exam is better than no result. The time of the exam may turn out to be rather good because knowing New Zealand, they'll struggle to take a wicket in the first session with India ending up 6 or 7 down at lunch and in the end it could save a lot of frustration!

I was on fire with my calls until just after McCullum got out early on day three. Now it's completely the opposite.

However I'm pretty confident India will manage to scrape 150 and NZ will be all out for 120. We've used our run budget for the first three innings of this series.

Every good Central Districts man, woman and child knows that Michael Mason is still a better bowler than Chris Martin. if I could be bothered I'd go find the quintessential Central Districts cricket rant I posted.

Or alternatively visit the old NZ Domestic threads and search for posts by Princess EWS.

Chris Martin to retire after this match imo, go out on a high.
Chris Martin now averages under 35 in test cricket.

If he can continue some semblance of this form and bash on Pakistan this summer he could even get it down to something respectable like 32.

As I've said repeatedly: India play to their opponents level. You believe me now?
That's rubbishing NZ's performance, which has been fantastic.

India didn't bowl well, but it was hardly rubbish. And they didn't bat well at all, but they weren't wafting outside off. Gambhir and Raina were poor batting, but fantastic fielding ran out Sehwag, and Sachin and Dravid were done by good balls. Dhoni's was a probing line as well.

What? 35 is pretty meh. And he should be able to take wickets against Pakistan on our pitches, especially since he doesn't have to compete with Bond and O'Brien this time.

EDIT: i see what you mean now. By some semblance I'm not hating on him. This display was ****ing awesome and it only happens a few times in the normal seamers career. But if he can keep getting consistent wickets he'll be fine.

It's an if though. I don't take back anything about the two years prior to this performance. I hope the 2004-2006 Martin is back but we'll have to wait and see. However this innings he has been amazing and I look like even more of a total prat than I already do.

I should start more hate threads.
