Neesham I think has a bit of potential as a test bowler, and possibly slightly less potential as a batsman. Consequently I don't want to see him bowl too many middle overs that will dull his wicket taking capabilities at test level. The same sort of thing happened to Southee - he became an excellent ODI bowler but lost the ability to swing the ball a few years ago.Is good to see Anderson and Neesham having success with the ball. These two make could be part of a useful World Cup attack, + 2 fast bowlers + Vettori + a few overs from Williamson. Gives a batting line up with Vettori at 8 and Neesham at 9.
With Anderson I don't really care how much he bowls because a) he has heaps of batting talent and b) his bowling doesn't quite have the extra zip to be anything other than a partnership breaker in tests. Therefore, I don't care how much he bowls in ODIs and it will actually be a good thing for that type of role - the Watson-esque, extremely tight golden arm.
it'll be very interesting to see what happens with the pair.
