*Official* New Zealand in Bangladesh 2010

Certainly wasn't expecting that result...watched the last few overs; brilliant penultimate over by Shakib and then Mills missed three consecutive deliveries at the start of the final over to kill off any hope of winning. After such a good start you'd have to say thats poor from New Zealand to let that game slip away.

Well played Bangladesh.:)

ten bucks says McKay and Elliott will cop the blame, get dropped, replaced by Bennett and Redmond.

For some reason Naeem bowls very well vs New Zealand in ODI's. He was the 2nd most important player

It's a good for the team to win w/o Tamim but the Batsmen need to step it up big time. Unacceptable from Kayes, Siddique, Mushifiq, Naeem and Raqibul all of them batted in 50 Strike Rate Range.

Can't count on Shakib to score 60 at 110SR and take 4 Wickets every match

They deserve to. Tuffey should be in the team from the start though to be fair.

D/L taking away 13 overs for 18 runs was ridiculous. As if any side in ODI cricket ever bats at 1.4 an over for 13 overs. We got utterly shafted. Bangladesh lucky but they played well so good on them. The method is outdated and should be canned.

Utter embarrassment for NZ.

Yea the D/L was stupid but I don't feel like it is an utter embarrassment these days, especially in Bangladesh. What impresses me is that they did it without Tamim and Mortaza!

I fully see your point about the D/L going rather in Bangladesh's favour, but you do have to remember that its 18 runs in 13 overs, without losing a wicket - and at the time of the rain delay, New Zealand was already four wickets down. Thats just the way D/L works with regard to "resources".
