Stupid rain. I was hoping for a little bit during the day, so it might be a delayed start so I didn't miss too much while I was at work. However, was far too much rain than I wanted, and then didn't end up going in because I thought there'd be no play. Because they got a lot of overs in I won't get my money back. Most expensive 3 hours of television watching I've ever experienced.

I think they're still doing it annually, so probably about this time next year. Think it's our turn to host it.
Australia are already scheduled to tour NZ next year, so they'll make the CH apart of that. Not sure what they'll do the following year though, what with the ashes, the world cup, and NZ and Australia not scheduled to play one another.

Pretty crazy scheduling for Haddin, Hilfenhaus and Siddle, Twenty20 on Sunday night, on the plane to SA on Monday.

It was disappointing to see the match end because of the rain, but I really enjoyed everything that was actually shown, even if it was almost a Twenty20. Back luck to the New Zealanders, they were on track for victory too. I didn't think they really had much of a chance before the match was shortened, but with a shortened match it was really anyone's game. And what fantastic work by Haddin, I've never liked him before this summer, but he's been arguably one of our best batsmen, so I'm slowly becoming a fan. And great work by Callum Ferguson too. What's his average now, over 100 or so?

Never seen such a green squad before, looks like the A team from last year.

Haddin
Warner
Ferguson
Hussey
White
Voges
Hopes
Henriques
Bracken
Hilfenhaus
Siddle

Again, pretty dire the whole squad only has 3 specialist bowlers, even for a Twenty20, could've at least flown in a bowler instead of Quiney or maybe given Hughes a go considering his form.

Out of interest, why did you think that? I thought the two teams were pretty even all series.

Here's my guess as to why:
