Nah man not just one bad game. That guy had become synonymous with bad games did you see the truck load of bad decisions he gave...

I remember one in adelaide when tendulkar was given lbw when he ducked and the ball hit him on his shoulder
That was Darryl Harper and on replay, was definitely out. I, personally, would not have given it out on the field were I the umpire but then, I'm not a top-level umpire either and I'm pretty conservative with decisions too.

Bahnz will be happy. It looks as though Fulton is set for a recall with Southee likely to miss out (god I hope Southee plays and Mills misses out...Mills has been absolutely rubbish since England toured NZ). It will be interesting to see where they slot him into the batting lineup...hopefully it is at 3.

Mehlol dunno why i was thinking it was always bucknor. guess its just some built up anti bucknor stuff... but he has given a LOT of dubious decisons on all of the last 3 indian tours.

Sounds like a good call. Surely this is wrong? 8-)

So Ryder, Taylor, and McCullum will all slip down one. Thats only good.
Even better if McCullum slips below Flynn.

McCullum-Vettori at 7-8 should be great, McCullum would be able to play more of his natural game. By that I mean he is of much more worth playing his way down at 7 than at 5. I dont think curbing his natural aggression at 5 is as good as him given a sort of license at 7.

Can’t see New Zealand getting 20 wickets or indeed scoring many runs. Aussies to waltz home and unless Mills gets the ball to move, a **** load of runs from Haydos…

I dunno, Hayden's never done outstandingly well against the black caps for some reason, and the kiwi bowling attack isn't too bad. Reckon Ponting's more likely to pile it on.

Haven't you heard? Vettori endorsed O'Brien as the man to get rid of Ponting. Watch out Ricky! :p

Can we all put our hands together and pray that somehow Shane Bond is miraculously selected? I'd like to see him get 10 wickets at 19.50.

Shane Bond has officially retired from international cricket and said he'll never play for the Black Caps again due to the poor treatment he got from NZ Cricket.

There's an article floating around where he's quoted as saying that.

Well if we are going for miracles why don't you all hope and prey that the entire aussie team catch a virus that puts them out of the game for two weeks that way you might have a hope of drawing the games.

Indeed, I think I've come across the article. That's why I said "miraculously" selected. I know it's a lost cause. :(

IMO he was the best modern fast bowler, and could've been a legend if not for the injuries.

But that's a lot less FUN than Bond yorking Hayden, Ponting and Hussey in a 4-over spell.
