Someone tell me when Bill Lawry and Ian Healy have stopped wanking over the Aussie bowling lineup. VIncent just hit a 4 off a rank wide ball, and all Bill talks about is Lee's pace.

That is quite frankly terrible batting considering how badly Lee bowled in that over.

Apparently McCullum just informed How that this is not test cricket, and they have only 50 overs to bat. This might make some difference now! WATCH OUT Australia!

Very good batting from McCullum so far, not so for Taits bowling. Concentrated on his action a bit more, doesn't seem to bad to me, sure it bends a little, but it's hardly extreme, and you have to really look for it to notice it imo.

EDIT: Awesome fielding from Ponting there, shame McCullum didn't leave his crease though.

Tait!!!! Damn, wouldn't have minded How hanging around a little longer though, was killing all NZs momentum brilliantly. :p

And that's why Tait is in the side, really; even when getting spanked due to crap bowling, he can just rip someone out.

Mark Taylor commented on it and I think too that Ponting was gun in keeping a slip on for Tait. With the wicket, Australia is back in the game. Another approach at this stage could so easily have been to go defensive but Ponting decided to keep the wicket option open which a lot of captains forget in ODIs proving very costly.
