Oi! That was my idea!:p

You Aussies have already cloned McGrath, sorry but making him look like Forest Gump and naming him Stuart Clark won't fool the world for long.:p
Sshhhh... don't let our secret out like this mate!

Heard on the radio that Vettori thinks Tait's action is suspect and heas talked with John Bracewell. I think its slingy more than anything but it could be worth checking so we don't get the whole Murali thing a few years later. I reckon Brett Lee's effort ball and Kyle Mills' action are worse. IIRC Danny Morrison at some point said his effort ball was a chuck so it seems to be mlore common than we thought.
Vettori is probably already getting ready with his set of excuses before the Black caps get drubbed in the C-H series, what did he see in Tait's action in the 4 overs he bowled in the T20 that he wasn't able notice in all the games he has played against the Black caps, and as you said if the blokes like Lee and Mills chuck when they bowl an effort bowl (or any other bowler for that matter) that means if they are asked go through a bio-mechanic test they can easily come out of it clean without bowling their effort bowl, so the bio-mechanical test are pretty meaningless if bowlers are able to chuck intentionally now and then during an international game.

I don't think any of them do know their effort ball is dodgy TBH, I think thats what Morrison said anyway and as he's a former quickie I'll have to trust him on that one.

Vettori isn't really an excuses sort of a bloke so I don't think thats it. I also love it when people write us off because we usually win. Its when people talk us up that we lose so I'm hoping for a few stupid statements from the media about us getting thrashed by 500 runs to tip the balance more on our side.

Yeah, the last time the media started saying that New Zealand batsmen were afraid of Lee and the Aussie Quickies was right before we twice scored 300+ against them in the 05/06 CH. Lets hope the trend continues.

Will be interesting to see our bowling attack today. Quietly hoping to see Lee, Tait, Johnson & Hogg, even though Bracken really is our 2nd best ODI bowler. Whoever is left out, out of Tait, Johnson & Hogg will feel a little hard done by, but then i guess that's what happens when you have 5 quality bowlers to fit into 4 spots.

Extremely strong arguement for Bracken being our best ODI bowler.

Probably that Lee has been gun in ODI's for his whole career really, for Bracken it's been like the last 2/3 years.

Haha utter trash to be honest. Was averaging 19 with the ball for a considerable amount of time early on in his career. I'm not saying without a doubt Bracken is better than Lee, especially as Lee has played double the games, but to discredit it immediately is just ignorance.

EDIT: http://stats.cricinfo.com/guru?sdb=filter;playerid=7445;class=odiplayer

After his first nine ODIs, Bracken has been one of the best bowlers in the world in ODI Cricket.

G'day boys and girls. Well it's summer time again so I thought i'd stick my neck in here to see what;s been going on. I currently work for Radio Sport over here in Auckland so i've been fortunate to be speaking to some of the Black Caps on the phone namely Mills and How and yep they're a confident ODI side but the reality is that this team cannot handle quick fast bowling and I don't think it's gonna change in this series.
