They came out all messy, mate. Its a microsoft word document that i attempted to cut and paste. I can email it to you, if you want.bryce said:what happened to your averages i was just reading them ?
The gist of it was that, if you add up the Test batting averages of NZ (no. 1 -11), they come to about 357. If you do the same for Aust, they come to about 400. Granted, this does not take into account the respective bowling line-ups of the two sides. However, taken at face value, it does provide some sort of hope that the series may well be a contest.bryce said:lol nah its alright, i will be starting to see them in about 12 hours time ........
and there's always cricinfo
I was sort of trying to perform a community service- attempting to convince people - including myself - that tomorrow will be something other than a first-rate mauling!bryce said:yeah i know, the new zealand averages will be just that(face value) against the best bowling attack in world.
Considering that New Zealand has the population of metropolitan Sydney, they are a formidable force. Just imagine if we Aussies only had that section of Australia to choose from. Least we wouldn't have to put up with Boof!bryce said:don't worry about it, us new zealanders don't really have expectations, we are just full of nothing but hope !
yeah only 4 million people and one-third of that in one cityhowardj said:Considering that New Zealand has the population of metropolitan Sydney, they are formidable force. Just imagine if we Aussies only had that section of Australia to choose from. Least we wouldn't have to put up with Boof!
I wouldn't call it that good in the current climate.Tim said:We've got 4 or 5 batsmen averaging over 35 which I wouldn't call that bad to be honest.
Even if I had one I wouldn't bet on that to be honest.howardj said:Justin Langer and Matt Hayden will both score centuries - bet your house on it.

so what was the bloody point of having the same squad as the BAN series & then bringing Macca in ????????meatspx said:Well it looks like that McMillan is definately playing and Marshall will be left out. Bracewell has said that blooding a player against Australia will be unfair, and that McMillan's experience would do the side good.
Macca at #3 - hell no................Retox said:I wish NZ would drop Sinclair he has had a couple of good games. Thats all.
McMillan should take his place And have Fleming/Richardson Opening with McMillan,Styris then Astle. As the top order. McMillan is a fighter.
