We couldn’t have planned this any worse really, 2 sets of guys batting a little too slowly and then all 4 getting out after a start. So basically a Bracewell/Neesham slog determines an ok innings or a poor one.

That could just reflect the state of the pitch - one on which it's hard to push the pace. Will be very interesting to see Australia's batting.

But also, every one of Australia's bowlers has been good (ok Green's overs a little weaker but w/e) - they have put the ball in the right areas for the pitch to help them. Especially Zampa and Maxwell. It's the sort of wicket where any of NZ's bowlers have a poor day and that's the game (even if we get a defendable score which looks unlikely).
