Should get there easily, shouldn't he? Think him and Ashwin could well be two of the last cricketers to get there.

Yeah but with no recognised batsmen beyond these two. When Australia got dismissed helps NZ somewhat but it would require these two to put on another 200 at least. It's not a flat deck either.

If he keeps taking wickets at his current rate then he'll get to 500 in ~30 more Tests which is just two, maybe three more years. Should get there easily if he keeps his form.

This will be one of Australia’s better home wins in a while imo. Got solid opponents who bat deep, our two best players didn’t pass 50 and we lost a bowler in the fourth over of the first dig in 40 degree heat. Been a big effort.
