Can already see ***** preparing his long run tomorrow.

HazleGOD is just too good in these conditions.

Have to note the contrast with last night where McCullum persisted in bowling Santner when the ball was hooping around.

It's going all over the place. Hard to be too mad.
I don't call this hooping. You want hooping, watch Simon Doull's 7fer against India. The ball is moving and Aussies are bowling very well. I'm very impressed with the way they've been able to change their length to accommodate the swinging ball.

The openers chasing wide ones; didn't do the job. Guptill has been dire in this series. 2 test centuries against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh bolstering a pitiful average. Will this be his last test?

Nannes called this before the dinner break, said that Llong's mistake didn't just add 50+ runs for Aust, but also meant their fast bowlers would be fresher and have a harder ball in the evening session when they could expect more swing.

(Although IMHO better captaincy from an angry BMac may have limited the damage).

It's not hooping. it's moving late, in the air, off the pitch and never the same two balls in a row. Which is tougher to face.

You would think international batsmen would know not to play around the pad when the ball is hoooing. Shane Watsonesque.

Tell me what an Australian spin bowler is doing with a bandage on his hand @CricketAus #respect @WWOS9

Blakey

International 12th Man
These guys could roll NZ when they go play in their conditions.

They bowl with pace and can swing it. Trouble.

jonbrooks

International Debutant
Jon's prediction time:

1) We get rolled for 159 - Oz need 137 to win
2) Oz 159/2 in 30 overs
3) Warner 73no

You heard it here first :-)
